Victor James Daley (1858-1905)was an Australian poet.
He was born at the Navan, County
Armagh, Ireland, and was educated at
the Christian Brothers at Devonport
in England. Arriving in Australia
in 1878 as a freelance
journalist and writer. He
died in Sydney of tuberculosis
Using the pseudonym Creeve Roe
as well as his own name
all of his poems were published after his death.
